Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis was one of three Missouri hospitals named one of the nation's top 100 by Thomson Reuters in its annual study.
Thomson Reuters examines clinical process and outcomes, patient safety, patient satisfaction, financial performance and operational efficiency when determining its list.
Missouri Baptist is a 489-bed acute-care hospital at Highway 40 and Interstate-270 in west St. Louis County. It is part of BJC HealthCare, the region's largest employer with more than 23,000 local employees.
St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin and Parkland Health Center in Farmington also made the list.
