The Reference Laboratory at Missouri Baptist Medical Center is a full-service laboratory offering comprehensive clinical and anatomic pathology testing to the medical community.  Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week our staff of 120 performs over 1.2 million tests a year.  The Laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists, the American Association of Blood Banks, The Joint Commission and hold certifications for Medicare/Medicaid and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments.

Our services are provided within a professional environment that is patient and physician focused.  Under the direction of nine board-certified pathologists, testing is performed by highly trained and skilled clinical laboratory scientists who provide extensive knowledge and experience to help manage patient care.  Our laboratory consists of eight sections:  coagulation, chemistry/toxicology, hematology, microbiology, transfusion services, urinalysis, cytology and histology -- all with sophisticated, advanced care instrumentation.
