Dr. Schwarze's practice, Cardiology Diagnostics, is part of BJC Medical Group of Missouri, a well-established, multi-specialty physician group. His main research interests include echocardiology, CHF, and lipid therapy, which has resulted in multiple publications in these areas. He has received 4 "Educator of the Year" awards and is a Fellow in the American College of Osteopathic Internists, and the American College of Cardiology. He is also the past president of the St. Louis Chapter of the American Heart Association. In June 2003, he received the St. Louis Chapter of the American Heart Association's Arthur E. Strauss Lifetime Achievement Award and in 2008 he received the Hugh D. McCoullough Award (named after one of the founding members of the American Heart Association). Dr. Schwarze is consistently recognized in "The Best Doctors in America" list.
