AMA Definition of CME

CME consists of educational activities that maintain, develop or increase the knowledge, skills and professional performance and relationships that a physician uses to provide services for patients, the public or the profession. CME represents that body of knowledge and skills generally recognized and accepted by the profession as within the basic medical sciences, the discipline of clinical medicine and the provision of health care to the public.

Cancer Conference (Tumor Patient Conference) — case presentations

7 a.m.-8 a.m. Fridays (except major holidays), Missouri Baptist Malloy conference room -- 1st floor, physician offices
Program Objectives:

  • Facilitate multi-disciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment
  • Understanding of history, epidemiology, pathology and diagnosis 
  • Understanding surgical, medical and radiotherapeutic management issues
  • Improve social support

All physicians on staff who have a personal email registered with the Medical Staff Office are automatically registered. You also can register and select your areas of interest at https://missouribaptist.mednewsplus.com.

Physicians can earn and track CME credits online — all content is certified for the Category 1 credits. And it’s not just for physicians. Physician assistants and nurses in your practice can participate, too.
