Saint Louis Dietitian Sherri Hoyt

Sherri Hoyt, RD, LD

Completed undergraduate degree in Dietetics at Missouri State University. Completed Dietetic internship at St. Louis University. Sherri works in the outpatient nutrition counseling office and the community education and marketing departments. She also co-teaches cooking classes at Dierbergs Markets as part of the MoBap-Dierbergs partnership.

Claudia Humphrey, RD, LD, CDE

Received her BS in Foods and Nutrition from Youngstown State University.  Completed her internship at Alameda County Institutions, California and has worked in a variety of settings from Florida to California before settling in St. Louis to work at MoBap.

"I encourage everyone with diabetes, prediabetes or at risk for diabetes to 'move after their meals' whenever you get a chance. You will feel more energetic and this will improve your blood glucose!

Rachel Matusiak, MS, RD, LD

Completed undergraduate degree in Dietetics at Southeast Missouri University. Then went on to complete internship and master's degree in Dietetics Administration at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.

Fill half your plate with produce! Aim to make half your plate colorful fruits and vegetables.

Debbie Monje, RD, LD

Completed undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at Southeast Missouri State University. Complete Dietetic Internship at St. Louis University. Has worked as both Inpatient and Outpatient Dietitian for over 16 years and as a speaker for the BJC Speakers Bureau/ Community Education Department.

Favorite health tip:

It's not about avoidance, it's about balance.  If you exercise and regularly choose healthy foods, you can occasionally sample small amounts higher calorie foods and not break your calorie budget.
