Schedule Your Mammogram Today

When you need experts to help you navigate breast health, look to the Missouri Baptist Breast HealthCare Center (BHCC). For over 25 years, patients have benefited from our multidisciplinary approach to breast health.

Taking Care of You

You mean so much to so many - that's why we're committed to taking care of you. When you visit the Missouri Baptist Breast HealthCare Center, you will be treated by some of the region’s most experienced physicians, nurses and technologists – all trained in breast health care.

Our breast health care team will take the time to answer your questions and educate you on proper breast care. They’ll listen to your concerns and offer you personalized attention. Our dedicated nurse navigator is also available to answer your questions, assist you with scheduling appointments, and can provide education, support and guidance to other resources you may need.

Making time for your health can include having a member of your family or support system join you at your appointment.  Children should be accompanied by another adult caregiver during your appointment.

We’ve designed our center to be warm and inviting, a place where you’ll find a level of comfort not usually associated with the most advanced breast imaging technologies. That’s because we understand the anxieties associated with breast screening and are here to treat both you and your health.

Certified Quality Breast Center of Excellence

The Missouri Baptist Breast HealthCare Center has been named a Certified Quality Breast Center of Excellence by the National Consortium of Breast Centers, every year since 2017. This is the highest certification level given by the NCBC's National Quality Measures for Breast Centers Program. The BHCC was the only breast center in Missouri to be named a Certified Quality Breast Center of Excellence in 2021.

Breast Self-Exam: How To

Breast self-exam is done once a month so that you become familiar with the usual appearance and feel of your own breasts. The best time to do a breast self-exam is two to three days after the end of your period, when your breasts are less likely to be tender or swollen.

If you discover anything unusual, such as lumps, discharge from the nipple or dimpling or puckering of the skin, you should see your doctor at once. Remember, eight out of 10 biopsied breast lumps are not cancer.
