Community Support Grants Program
Providing impactful funding to nonprofit organizations
Missouri Baptist Healthcare Foundation proudly supports those making a positive difference in our community. Our community support grants program provides seed funding and expands the reach of existing projects that improve health care for our region. The application window for the 2026 Community Grant applications is Jan. 1–July 31.
Projects focused on these topics are encouraged to apply for a community support grant:
- Healthy food access and food insecurity
- Physical activity
- Diabetes
- Infant and maternal health
- Youth and school health
- Violence prevention
- Behavioral and mental health
- Economic wellness
- Medical education, research, and outcomes
- Capital or infrastructure (community building in underserved communities)
- Patient needs (medical bills, transportation for treatment or pharmacy)

Making a difference
Our community support grants have benefited the following projects and organizations:
- Linda Peterson, MD, WashU Medicine: Supports research on effects of hospital discharge timing
- Gateway to Hope: Supports community outreach, assisting patients through treatment, and community education about breast health
- Giving is a Family Tradition (GiFT): Supports families preparing to take their infant home after prolonged hospital stay
- Focus Marines: Supports education for veterans with focus on their lives after leaving the military
- Marygrove: Supports youth therapeutic services
- Annie’s Hope: Supports comprehensive services for children, teens, and families who are grieving a death
- St. Louis Area Foodbank: Supports nourishment of people and communities throughout the region
- Cancer Support Community: Supports people impacted by cancer by removing barriers to care
- Saint Martha’s Hall: Supports women and children impacted by domestic violence
- Mission: St. Louis: Supports and empowers social and economic growth with a focus on building relationships
- Bells Garden: Supports the creation of space for affordable food self-sustainment
- Circle of Concern: Supports the provision of wholesome food and other services to more than 1,200 St. Louis County households annually
- St. Louis Jewish Community Center: Supports cancer care programs for wellness
- LaLa Speaks Foundation: Supports brain aneurysm awareness, support, and survivorship
- Home Sweet Home: Supports families in the St. Louis region through donated furniture and household items
- Veterans Community Project STL: Supports homeless veterans through new home construction
- Give Kids a Smile: Supports oral health improvement for children with transportation barriers
- Mason Ridge PTO: Supports school field trips, international night, and school improvements
- Midtown STL: Supports infant mortality prevention by providing pre-and post-natal resources
- Missouri Environmental Education Association: Supports education that helps Missourians care, understand, and act for their environment
- DeSales Community Development: Supports resident resource nights and community meals
- Hoop’n for Hearts/Moving Upward: Supports wellness and early detection of hypertension
- Operation Food Search: Supports food support to combat hunger
- Christian Friends of New Americans: Supports outreach to immigrants and refugees in the greater St. Louis area
