MoBap donors have funded a new Cardiovascular Hybrid Operating Suite that will allow multiple interventions to be performed in one operating suite. Donors to this project are proud to enhance the work of the heart care team who can now collaborate on the most complex cases instead of separate interventions on separate occasions.

In appreciation to donors, who provided the recent expansion of more exam rooms and a larger waiting room, the Missouri Baptist Wound Center is even better able to accommodate those in need. In addition, the Foundation has begun to raise funds for patients who need transportation assistance that is often daily for weeks at a time. Many of these patients live outside the immediate area. If interested, please contact the Foundation.

Moneta Group leaders provided the renovation of the cardiovascular Moneta Conference Room, originally created in 2004 for our surgeons, interventional cardiologists, perfusionists, nurses and others who stand at the bedside for pre-and post-procedures. The conference room has been essential to the cardiac care team in reviewing over 1,000 cases annually and provides a space for critical education for those who deliver care.

After $5.1 million in philanthropic support was secured, the detailed planning process began this fall with hammers swinging in the first quarter of 2024.
