Champions For Care

Become a Champion today

At Missouri Baptist Medical Center, we place a premium on delivering compassionate care to our patients. To make that possible, we need a team of caring and generous donors. We hope you’ll consider partnering with a special group of MoBap donors called Champions for Care. Each year, Champions designate their giving to fundraising projects that elevate the quality of patient care.

How can I become a Champion?

A Champion for Care is a MoBap donor who commits to a gift of $500 or more. The gift can be paid outright, semiannually, quarterly, or monthly. Gifts can be made according to your giving preference.

We hope you will consider joining this special group.

2025 project goal

This year, Champions are coming together to help raise $250,000 toward replacing 65 infant bassinets with a modern, durable product. This project will help infants, parents, and families in the following ways:

Safety

  • Promotes and demonstrates safe sleep practices during hospital stay
  • Adjustable height creates better ergonomic positioning options for mothers and infants
  • Steer-locking, soft-wheel casters give infants a smooth, quiet ride while providing stability and maneuverability during transportation
  • Secured by three points of contact, the basket gives parents and caregivers increased peace of mind
  • Open-style chart holder gives caregivers easy access to information
  • Ensures high-level disinfecting practices on equipment to help keep infants safe

Comfort

  • Creates a more inviting environment
  • Narrow cabinet design promotes mother-to-infant closeness from the bedside
  • Soft-edge basket with tilting feature improves visibility and interaction between mothers and infants

Past Projects

Missouri Baptist Healthcare Foundation and Champions for Care donors have a long, proud history of supporting a spectrum of health care needs. Since 2016, Champions have provided needed equipment, education, access to excellent health care, and life-saving screenings.
