A Sustaining Donor’s Increased Giving

Since 2019, Jeff Harris has been a sustaining donor to Missouri Baptist Medical Center, contributing to the Foundation’s unrestricted fund. SustainJeff Harrising donors are those who contribute monthly.

At a recent Legacy Society/Champions for Care event, Jeff learned about the challenges infants and families face in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

Inspired by the planned renovations for the NICU that will allow parents to sleep or “room-in” with their infant, Jeff increased his donation and directed it to the 2024 Champions for Care NICU renovation project.

“The idea of families being able to stay with their babies and have more bonding opportunities resonates with me and is important,” Jeff explains.
