The Surgery Center
This 6-story, 244-000-square-foot tower features a surgery center designed around patient safety and healing. It hosts 64 private patient rooms, four large, high-technology operating rooms, and 43 pre- and post-surgery private rooms.
Private Patient Rooms
Safer for Patients
Missouri Baptist and BJC have made safety and healing priorities for patient rooms. The design of the patient rooms plays an active role in the healing process. Family participation is known to have a positive impact on healing time, thus all patient rooms include space dedicated to family. The family zone has a sofa/overnight bed and a table for dining and work. Other amenities include shelving, wardrobe and a safe for belongings.
Designers applied a soothing color and texture palette. Large windows allow healing natural light to flood the rooms. Each patient will have control over the temperature in the room.
Safer for the Caregivers
All patient rooms in the West Pavilion are standardized, which helps caregivers locate supplies and medical equipment quickly in an emergency. Each room has a computer workstation positioned so clinicians will face patients as they document. This increases the time caregivers spend with patients.

Main Parking Garage
A 3-story garage is located right next to the West Pavilion, offering 340 convenient parking spaces, connected by a covered walkway into the West Pavilion Lobby. Valet parking is also available.
Clinical Learning Institute
Located on the fourth level of the main parking garage, this 42,000-square-foot space houses the Goldfarb School of Nursing and other clinical education programs, with classrooms and simulation labs, as well as community wellness programs.
South Nature Trails
Beautiful landscape and greens are a part of the healing process. We opened a system of nature trails in the 8-acres of a wooded tract of land adjoining the southwest corner of our campus. These trails connect with other hiking trails in Town & Country.
