Helping Your Community

We all share a responsibility for the future of our community. At Missouri Baptist, our mission is to improve the health — and quality of life — for every neighbor we serve. You can join us by making a gift of any size, in any of the ways listed below. When you do, you’ll join the many thousands who have come before you — and set a noble example for generations to come.

a message from Debra Victor, VP.

Thank you for considering a leadership gift to the Missouri Baptist Medical Center.

I wanted to share some exciting news.  Missouri Baptist Medical Center was recognized nationally with the Professional Research Consultants (PRC) Excellence in Healthcare Award due to MoBap’s commitment and consistency in providing excellent patient care- even amid the challenges of a pandemic.

Last April, Missouri Baptist Medical Center achieved its second Magnet® designation in recognition of nursing excellence. The designation comes from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Only nine percent of the nation's hospitals meet the criteria to earn this prestigious designation for providing the highest quality patient care, teamwork, professionalism, and innovation in nursing practice.

In July for the eighth consecutive year, U.S. News and World Report ranked Missouri Baptist Medical Center #2 in St. Louis and for the fifth consecutive year #3 in Missouri.

MoBap’s commitment to excellence, compassionate care, and teamwork with donor leadership and investment is the foundation which makes these achievements possible.

Please consider supporting one of these areas as MoBap continues to provide excellent service to all our patients as well as support those on the front lines of service.

Tributes and Memorials

Memorials and honoraria offer the opportunity to remember or celebrate a friend or loved one by making a special gift in his or her name.

Another excellent way to honor or memorialize a loved one is to establish — in his or her name — a philanthropic fund. Or, you can dedicate a room, facility or piece of medical equipment.

Planned and Estate Giving

Our Planned Giving Center is a valuable resource for your charitable gift planning. Wills and bequests provide a means for members of the Missouri Baptist Medical Center community to support programs of their choice well into the future.

Charitable gift annuities and trusts allow the donor to support the Medical Center and receive special tax benefits or other life income incentives. Non-cash gifts such as appreciated stock securities, real estate, and undivided interest in property or life insurance offer the donor tax incentives as well as the opportunity to make a charitable gift.

Donor Recognition

The Foundation recognizes donors by including them in giving societies, facility and program naming opportunities, honor rolls, and invitations to special events. When you make an annual gift of $1,000 or more, you become a Leadership Pacesetter. Donors' names are displayed on our special donor wall and included in the Foundation annual report.

Make a donation in one year or make a commitment to divide your gift into multiple year pledge payments. Match your gift with your company's matching gift funds, if available.

Please call 314-996-5054, or email the Foundation, to learn how you can help.
